DESCRIPTION
The Volt Guard - Model 345 is a budget or entry level Power Protection Spike Arrester designed to give a high level of protection from damaging high voltage spikes. The Volt Guard using multiple MOV's (metal oxide varistors), absorbs and re-directs over voltage spikes to earth. This means that your valuable equipment is afforded vital protection. The Volt Guard automatically detects and reacts against high voltage 'spikes' protecting your sensitive electronic equipment from these damaging and dangerous occurrences that commonly cause breakdown, poor performance and long term damage or destruction of sensitive electronic equipment. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

When used in conjunction with 9 multiple outlet power board it is imperative that the Volt Guard be plugged into the power board's first socket and then the equipment to be protected into the Volt Guard. (Refer Fig # 2) This configuration will provide protection for all outlets on the power hoard while providing 9 barrier for your most sensitive equipment plugged into the Volt Guard, from AC mains events or feed back from neighbouring devices sharing the power board. |
