FLEX I/O Modules

FLEX™ I/O is a cost-effective, flexible, modular I/O system for distributed applications, offering all the functions of larger rack-based I/O without the space requirements. This, along with outstanding reliability, is why we have sold over 5 million modules.

Benefits

  • Modularity of network adapter, I/O, and the backplane means one I/O product line can fit your needs.
  • Compact design of hardware results in smaller cabinets versus rack-based I/O.
  • Locating I/O near sensors and actuators eliminates long wiring runs, reduces terminations per point, and decreases engineering and installation time.
  • Removal and Insertion Under Power (RIUP) of any FLEX I/O module without disruption of any other modules makes it possible to replace or add a module while keeping the rest of the system running, reducing downtime.
  • Over 60 catalog numbers and a wide breadth of specialty modules make this product a perfect fit for hundreds of applications.
  • Separate terminal bases make it possible to replace FLEX I/O modules without rewiring, saving labor costs.
  • Provides local I/O for FlexLogix controllers at an attractive price.
  • Selection of FLEX I/O products are also available with conformal coating.
