Installation Readme


Downloading the package
=======================
1. Click the file link to download the file from the Web page.
2. When prompted, select a drive and directory in which to save
   the downloaded file.


Extracting the package
======================

Windows XP

1.  Click Start, click Search, then click All files and folders.
2.  Type q3kyb05us17.exe in the search field, then click Search.
    This will locate the file you just downloaded.
3.  Double-click the a3kyb01us17.exe icon.
4.  Click Next. Read the license agreement.
5.  Click I accept the terms in the license agreement. Click Next.
6.  Ensure that "Save files in folder" is set to
    C:\SWTOOLS\DRIVERS\KYB\a3kyb01us17.
7.  Click Next.
8.  Click Finish.

Windows 7 / Vista

1.  Click Start, then click Start Search. 
2.  Type q3kyb05us17.exe in the search field, then click Search Everywhere.
    This will locate the file you just downloaded.
3.  Double-click the a3kyb01us17.exe icon. You may see a dialog stating 
    "A program needs your permission to continue". If you see this dialog, 
    click Continue.
4.  Click Next. Read the license agreement.
5.  Click I accept the terms in the license agreement. Click Next.
6.  Ensure that "Save files in folder" is set to
    C:\SWTOOLS\DRIVERS\KYB\a3kyb01us17.
7.  Click Next.
8.  Click Finish.


Installing the package
======================

Windows XP

1. Click Start, then click Run.
2. Type C:\SWTOOLS\DRIVERS\KYB\a3kyb01us17\Setup.exe.
3. Click OK.
4. Follow the onscreen prompts to complete the installation.

Windows 7 / Vista

1. Click Start, click All Programs, click Accessories, then click Run.
2. Type C:\SWTOOLS\DRIVERS\KYB\a3kyb01us17\Setup.exe.
3. Click OK.
4. Follow the onscreen prompts to complete the installation.


For unattended installation, use the parameter -s for silent install. 
This will install the driver with no input from the user, and will not force 
a reboot at the conclusion of the installation
   
For example:
   
     setup -s 


Uninstallation
==============

1. In Control Panel, open "Add/Remove Programs" in XP, or 
   "Programs and Features" in Vista/Win7.
2. In Install/Uninstall tab, select this software from the list and
   click on the "Add/Remove" or "Uninstall/Change" button.
3. Follow the instruction on the screen to complete the uninstallation 
   procedure.
4. XP Silent uninstallation -> Type the command "uninstit.exe KUFS.ini" 
   for silent uninstallation or "uninstit.exe KUFSNR.ini" in command line 
   for silent uninstallation, no reboot dialog
5. Vista/Win7  Silent uninstallation -> Type the command "setup.exe /uninst /s"
   for silent uninstallation.
6. The registry path for user to customized the application of Access button.
   -Path :HKLM\Software\ACCESSLDIR
            -Value name : LaunchApp
	             -Value conten: Please specify the path and applciation here
		      for you would like to launch , when the Access IBM application 
		      is not reside in the system.
