| Drivers for hard disk drives

Drivers for disk controllers are included with the
operating system or a controller card.
Our hard disk drives use the disk controller device
drivers that are embedded within the operating system.
Therefore, you don't need to download a driver. We do not
provide these drivers separately, since the driver is already
included as part of the operating system. |

However, there are rare cases -- depending on your
operating system and system configuration -- where driver
compatibility may be an issue. For Macintosh, Linux and other
installation and setup related problems, please see the
following links:

| Microdrives |
Hand held PCs running Windows CE use a specific
version of the ATADSK.DLL file for each type of processor to
support the 170MB/340MB/1GB Microdrive. Download the
driver version for your hand held PC processor to a temporary
directory on your desktop
or notebook computer. You
can find the driver on the web on our Microdrive
downloads page. |
